The Oklahoma Rural Water Enrichment Foundation is honored to announce the offering of scholarship opportunities, for the 2010/2011 scholastic year, to ORWA member system employees, directors, and their dependent children or grandchildren.  The scholarship program was organized for the purposes of promoting the higher education of students from rural areas, by granting scholarships for continuing educational opportunities to eligible participants.

Applications will be due at the ORWEF offices by February 19, 2010.  Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail in late spring 2010.  Thank you for your continued support and patronage.

The Oklahoma Rural Water Enrichment Foundation supports the higher education and vocational training of the dependant children and grandchildren of directors and employees of ORWA member systems.  Scholarships are funded through tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations and water systems.  The number of scholarships is determined by the directors of the Foundation, based upon the availability of funds.  Over $140,000 in scholarships have been awarded since inception of the program in 1999.  For more information contact Stephanie Whatley at 800-375-6792.
