Congratulations!
We would like to thank all
the students and teachers who participated in
this year's video contest. The winner's have
now been chosen. Our committee narrowed it down
to the Top 5 videos back on April 1. Today, the
winners were selected by a 3 judge panel. The
panel was comprised of Jill Daughtery, District
Director for Congressman Tom Cole; Mike Melton,
Financial Assistance Division for Oklahoma Water
Resources Board, and Gene Whatley, Executive
Director of the Oklahoma Rural Water
Association.

Ground Water Rule effective DECEMBER 1,
2009
The GWR applies to all ground water systems
that have ground water sources (wells) or purchase water from systems
with wells. The Rule also applies to any surface water systems (systems
pulling water from a lake, river, etc.) that have wells, or purchase
water from another system with any wells, and the water is introduced
anywhere after the surface water treatment plant.
